NGHỆ THUẬT KOKEDAMA (こけだま)

 Kokedama (Cầu rêu) là một nghệ thuật trồng cây sáng tạo của người Nhật Bản, từ sự kết hợp của hai cách trồng nearai bonsai và kusamono.

Tạo hình Kokedama như một quả cầu gồm đất phủ rêu bao quanh, và một cây cảnh mọc bên trên. Phần rễ của cây là phần được bọc trong đất và rêu, lớp ngoài cùng là rêu và dây bện, tạo thành một quả bóng (dama) rêu (koke).

Loại hình Kokedama xóa bỏ hoàn toàn nguyên tắc chơi cây cảnh là phải có chậu. Bởi thế, Kokedama đặc biệt phù hợp với những ai yêu thiên nhiên nhưng hạn hẹp không gian vườn.

Kokedama được trưng bày trên đĩa hoặc phối cùng đồ gỗ, đồ gốm, treo trong nhà hoặc nơi râm mát.
